Confirming a new vendor or supplier is a real, legitimate, financially-stable business before you sign a contract is a specific, transactional need, distinct from the broader vendor-risk-management framework layer or ongoing-monitoring software. Buyers face a maze of self-descriptions with no consistent way to compare method rigor or coverage. Vendor Proof Index exists to fix the first conversation: it turns each verification category into a plain checklist of what the process or vendor covers, what to verify, and what to ask, then routes real sourcing requests toward qualified vendors.

Alongside the sourcing layer, we maintain a sourced reference to notable real vendors active in the space, so the vocabulary and the landscape are one click away. We do not ourselves perform verification, and we do not vouch for any listed vendor's service quality.
